I started with the Rev'IT Eclipse because I have the Rev'IT Flare 2 (winter jacket) but the size M that I have in the winter jacket almost didn't fit me in the summer jacket, and the size L, while it fit well in the torso, the sleeves were too long (I am 1.79m and 82kg). The Nordcap Aero-R in size M fit perfectly on me. It has shoulder and elbow protectors, and a back protector (which is better than nothing). *I haven't tested if it works from Rev'IT.
Overall, I don't have any issues with the heat, my thermostat works well. Up to 30°C in the city, I can manage when stopped at a traffic light, but above 30°C it's difficult. However, when you're moving, everything is in favor of the jacket. The air passes through the mesh on the chest and sleeves and comes out from the back, which is also made of mesh material, resulting in a cool feeling. It's a comfortable weight without being tiring.
Only time will tell about its durability, but it seems to be of good quality with sturdy fastenings.
P.S.1 Because in the description I read that it is (3/4), it has nothing to do with reality. The jacket is short as it appears in the photo from various e-shops.
P.S.2 If it had a removable waterproof lining, I don't think it would have any competition
Ξεκίνησα για το Rev'IT Eclipse επειδή έχω το Rev'IT Flare 2 (χειμερινό και μπουφανάρα) αλλά το Μ που έχω στο χειμερινό σχεδόν δεν μου κούμπωνε στο καλοκαιρινό και το L ενώ μου ήταν καλό στον κορμό αλλά έπλεαν τα μανίκια (είμαι 1,79 και 82 κιλά). Το Nordcap Aero-R σε Μ κούμπωσε μια χαρά πάνω μου. Με προστατευτικά σε ώμο-αγκώνες και ένας της πλάκας για πλάτη (από το τίποτα καλύτερο). *δεν έχω δοκιμάσει αν κάνει από το Rev'IT.
Γενικά με τη ζέστη δεν το έχω, ο θερμοστάτης μου δουλεύει ψηλά. μέχρι 30C στην πόλη σταματημένος σε φανάρι την παλεύω, από 30C και πάνω δύσκολα. Αν κινείσαι όμως όλα είναι υπέρ του μπουφάν. Ο αέρας περνάει από το mesh που είναι στο στήθος και στα μανίκια και βγαίνει από το πίσω μέρος που πάλι είναι mesh το υλικό, με αποτέλεσμα να είσαι δροσερός. από βάρος είναι μια χαρά χωρίς να κουράζει.
Αντοχή στο χρόνο θα δείξει, αλλά μοιάζει ποιοτικό με καλά κουμπώματα.
υ.γ.1 επειδή στην περιγραφή διαβάζω ότι είναι (3/4) δεν έχει σχέση με την πραγματικότητα. το μπουφάν είναι κοντό όπως φαίνεται και στη φωτογραφία μέσα από τα διάφορα e-shop
υ.γ.2 αν είχε αφαιρούμενη αδιάβροχη επένδυση δεν νομίζω να είχε αντίπαλο
