The Hikvision DS-2CD1A43G0-IZU security camera is digital (IP), connects to your network wired via an ethernet cable, and has a wide range of capture. It features PTZ (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) functionality, allowing you to zoom in on the desired area and rotate the camera vertically or horizontally.

Very good image and very good OPTICAL ZOOM.
It does very well in PAN.
In TILT it has very limited degrees of movement. I didn't like that.
Also, the movement is VERY SLOW and clumsy. An IMOU I have makes much more linear movement and with proper response.
I don't know if I would buy it again.
It hasn't been tested yet in rain - storms. I will update in 6 months.
UPDATE: 21/11/2025 Yesterday the left-right movement broke. You can hear crack-crack, so I think something broke in the gears.
It has a warranty of course, but due to limited time and the cost of courier back and forth I won't bother anymore. I will keep it fixed from now on.

This is a very good camera overall. The only area that could be improved is the detection function – it would be particularly useful to offer more specialized detection for people, vehicles, etc., as its current form is not so effective in practice.
