The IronKey Vault Privacy 80 is the first innovative external SSD with OS-independent encryption firmware, offering data protection through a touchscreen. The VP80ES protects against Brute Force and BadUSB attacks with digitally signed firmware. Brute Force attack protection encrypts the drive if the Admin and User passwords are entered incorrectly 15 times in a row by default.

The drive is certified according to FIPS 197 with XTS-AES 256-bit encryption, using a secure microprocessor certified with EAL5 CC EAL5, and meets TAA requirements. The VP80ES design is simple and user-friendly, allowing easy file transfers with “drag & drop”.

It features a user-friendly color touchscreen and the option of multiple Admin and User passwords with numeric PINs or passphrases. The Vault Privacy 80ES surpasses the use of the internet and Cloud services for data security. It is ideal for important company information, client documents, or high-resolution images and videos, making it suitable for small and medium-sized businesses as well as content creators.

The VP80ES comes with two USB 3.2 Gen 1 adapter cables, USB Type-C to Type-A and Type-C to Type-C, for easy connection to computers and other devices. It is the perfect companion when protected data and content on the go are required, offering portability and convenience in hand.

  • Ability to enable User password and set security options.
  • Ability to configure password requirements, such as maximum number of common attempts, minimum password length of 6-64 characters.
  • Create alphanumeric passwords with 'space' for memory ease.
  • View password upon entry via the "eye" button to reduce failed attempts.
  • Admin password access available in case the User password is forgotten.
