Description

Inverter Welding Machine BORMANN.

  • Hot Start, Arc Force Anti Stick function – interruption of power supply to prevent the electrode from sticking to the material.
  • With function: Inverter
  • Includes: Body, grounding

At a glance

  • Inverter MMA welding machine from the manufacturer Bormann, where inverter technology enhances the performance and durability of the machine and helps reduce its weight.
  • The MMA electrode method creates thick and strong welds without the need for an external gas supply, making it ideal for welding outside the workshop.
  • It can operate continuously for 4.5 minutes at 140A before needing to stop to cool down. Therefore, you may need more time to melt thicker wires and make more passes on thick welds due to the low maximum Amps it supports.
  • Easily portable as it weighs 1.9kg.
  • Hot Start, Arc Force Anti Stick function – interruption of power supply to prevent the electrode from sticking to the material.

Just fine for its price. With a 2mm electrode I welded 1.2mm galvanized sheet just fine. And with a 2.5mm electrode I welded some 30*30*3 angles, it welded them perfectly once I sanded the galvanization a bit. Very good for amateur use and convenient in size. The clamp cable would be better if it was a bit longer, but it's okay.

    Very good for its size!!
I gave it as a gift to my father, and he used it to weld the house's railings (balcony)!
The impression from the person using it is excellent!

P.S. It is so light that you can weld while having it on you!
You don't feel any weight at all!!!

Worthwhile for the €50 it costs. Small and very lightweight. In typical tasks with 2.5 or 3mm electrodes, it has nothing to envy from the expensive ones. The only issue is when you insert a new electrode, it needs quite a bit of preheating (rubbing or tapping) to work without sticking. Generally, when the length of the electrode is 80-100%, it gives you a bit of trouble with sticking (with the cables well tightened and good grounding). Sometimes I cut the electrodes in half and then it works perfectly. As for more difficult tasks, e.g. thin metals with thin electrodes and current at 50-60A, things require patience, good electrode preheating, and small touches. Nothing like a simple (iron or coil as they used to call it) that worked really flawlessly. However, for amateur use it does not disappoint and so far it is very reliable.

Before I bought this specific one, I had purchased the same brand in a larger size and was very satisfied... later I bought a 200A from another well-known brand with problems. Fortunately, the dealership recognized it, and so I went for this one... it is the best I have worked with for amateur use. It comfortably handles 70-75A with a 2.5mm electrode. Small, lightweight, very nice, and worth the money. The cables are 1.5m, but anyway, for this price, it's perfect.

Lightweight, powerful, good quality, now for professionals I don't know if it works because I don't know, but for chores around the house, garden it is perfect so far. I will update you later again.

I bought it because I have a standalone electric system of 5/10 kw and I didn't want to burden it with a conventional welding machine. Although I am a complete beginner, I made many good welds. It usually doesn't stick before it arcs, and this is very good for a beginner. It didn't overheat or use its maximum 45% duty cycle, which is already high. I also used it at 90 A with an 11 horsepower Craft generator and it produced an even better arc than the power from the house! I don't know how long it will last because I've only had it for a month, but for the money, I believe it is the best you can buy. Good welds!

I was skeptical about buying such a large welding machine as I am a professional. A friend convinced me and I finally bought it. Whatever I say is not enough. It is truly incredibly convenient and for small jobs, it is the best I have ever had. I won't get a bigger one again, only in the range of 140A to 160A. I will buy two more of the same for the kids at the workshop.

Much better than I expected for this price. It didn't get stuck anywhere with 2.5 horsepower. I easily climbed the ladder to work because it is small and lightweight. Perfect purchase!

The machine flies. I stuck with a 2.5 electrode at 80 amps. Perfect and easy welding, lightweight machine.

  • Just fine for its price.

  • Very good for its size!!
I gave it as a gift to my father, and he used it to weld the house's railings (balcony)!
The impression from the person using it is excellent!

P.S. It is so light that you can weld while having it on you!
You don't feel any weight at all!!!

  • Worthwhile for the €50 it costs.

  • For amateur use, it is excellent!!! Be careful with the electrodes; they should be of top quality and the result will be outstanding!!!

  • I haven't tested it thoroughly because I'm not a professional.. However, it does an excellent job for amateur use
