  • Large number of functions
  • Value for money
  • Moderate number of inputs/outputs
  • Amazing build quality. Flawless. Very good sound. Resolution and stereo imaging are probably its strong points, without lacking in treble, bass, or mids. Its sound is neither colored, nor cold, nor clear. Strong clarity sometimes leads to bad results, such as high keys or drums partially getting lost. Clear amplifiers are good for classical or generally acoustic music, with clean, undistorted instruments. Not Metal. Metal, which is the music I listen to, is reproduced incredibly. Its dynamics are very good and in general, it drives my Castle Harlech speakers perfectly! The snare is very natural, as are the cymbals. None of the three frequencies are left behind. Fast bass, crystal-clear cymbals, and mids just right. Crystal-clear vocals as well. The keyboards do not stand out annoyingly, but just enough! My previous amplifier was a five-channel, VERY HONEST Yamaha A2 about 28 years old, which played flawlessly but cannot be compared at all to the Denon. Three levels better in stereo imaging and resolution. Two levels better in treble, bass, and mids! I believe that the 1800 euros I paid are little for such a huge upgrade I had in my sound. Also, and in closing, it is Japanese and extremely powerful!
