The Menschen series guides learners through two slim volumes at each level. Volume B1/2 contains chapters 13-24 of the B1 level and systematically prepares students for the requirements of the Zertifikat B1 exam.

Each chapter of the Student's Book consists of four or six pages. Learning vocabulary is facilitated by the illustrated dictionary that accompanies each corresponding page.

At the end of each chapter, there is always a concise presentation of the grammar and necessary expressive means.

Every three chapters form a thematic unit, which is accompanied by four additional pages with longer texts, exercises based on the video clips available on the DVD, projects about German-speaking countries, and songs that accompany the chapters.
