Just when everyone is convinced that the lion deserves to be the leader, the huge elephant appears and claims to be unbeatable, stronger than him! But what happened that such a tiny creature, just the size of your little fingernail, proved that neither the elephant nor any other animal should have a high opinion of themselves, and that everyone has their own unique abilities? The series: In order to ensure that children have a healthy social life based on effective relationships, they must cultivate empathy, the ability to put themselves in others' shoes, to understand and feel things the same way another person experiences them. This need is addressed by the illustrated books in this series, which promote emotional intelligence. With the proposed approach for parents and educators, they aim to introduce children to see the world through the eyes of others, after first learning to recognize and manage their own feelings. The author: Yolanda Tsoroni-Georgiadi is a graduate of the Law School, the Pedagogical Academy, and the Faculty of Education at the University of Athens, and has undergone further training at the Marasleio Teaching Institute. She worked for many years in public education, writes articles for educational magazines, volunteers in organizations that promote literature, is an active member of the Women's Literary Society, and has published many books for children, novels for adults, and studies on folkloric content.
