Premium Sound SOUND BY Harman Kardon

Sena has partnered with the audio experts at Harman Kardon to deliver a world-class acoustic experience in the 50S. The redesigned speakers and brand-new microphone provide crystal-clear sound and robust performance for voice communication while riding. The new microphone sensor has been optimized to perform flawlessly even in noisy environments, ensuring that your voice will always be heard clearly by your conversation partners.

Mesh Technology 3.0: The New Standard

The 50S Mesh network ushers in a new era of reliable connections, thanks to significant improvements in Sena’s algorithm. The units share information with each other at incredible speed, transferring 80% more data in challenging conditions. The intelligent message routing system automatically determines the ideal transmission path from rider to rider, keeping the communication line stable and clear, even when the group changes formation or moves apart.

Multi-Channel Open Mesh & Private Conversations

The 50S offers three different intercom modes. Open Mesh allows operation on 6 different channels, just like a CB radio, supporting an almost unlimited number of users within a range of up to 8 km. For more private moments, Group Mesh supports a private group of up to 24 participants with the same top range. Finally, there is the option for the traditional Bluetooth Intercom 4-way, allowing connection with users of older devices and bridging them to the Mesh network.

Wave Intercom™ for Unlimited Range

Beyond local connections, the 50S incorporates Wave Intercom™ technology, which uses the mobile phone network to offer communication without geographical limitations. This means you can stay connected with your group even if the distance exceeds the limits of Bluetooth or Mesh, as long as there is mobile signal. It is the ultimate solution for long journeys where riders may be separated due to traffic or different riding speeds.

Fast Charging and Autonomy

The Sena 50S is designed to always be on the move. With the fast charging function, just 20 minutes of connection provide 2 additional hours of Mesh or Bluetooth communication. With a full charge in 2.5 hours, you can enjoy up to 16 hours of talk time via Bluetooth or 13 hours via Mesh. The lithium battery ensures stable performance at temperatures from -10°C to 55°C, while the included WiFi Adapter takes care of automatic firmware updates during charging.

Advanced Control via Sena Motorcycles App

The user experience is completed with the Sena Motorcycles App, which allows you to fully configure your device from your smartphone. You can set the Open Mesh channels, create private groups, or experiment with the EQ presets to tailor the sound to your preferences. The device also supports voice commands in multiple languages, allowing you to control music, phone, or intercom without taking your hands off the handlebars, enhancing your safety and comfort.
