The Hartmann Zetuvit Plus Silicone Border adhesive dressing has a silicone contact layer and a high-capacity superabsorbent core, surrounded by non-woven material to distribute fluids. It is intended for acute and chronic wounds with moderate to high exudate, such as surgical wounds, wounds with lymphatic drainage and leg ulcers. It can also be used under compression dressings.
The two-layer non-woven lining does not adhere to the wound and channels exudate into the absorbent layer by capillary action. The breathable outer surface is hydrophobic and green to help ensure correct placement. The dressing is sterile, single-use and intended for use on adults by healthcare professionals in clinical or home settings.
