Description

The Audio Technica ATH-AWKT are wired, closed-back headphones with 53 mm drivers and a German Permendur magnetic circuit. The Kokutan ebony wooden housings feature a hand-applied semi-gloss finish and help reduce unwanted resonance, while the D.A.D.S. (Double Air Damping System) contributes to deep bass reproduction. The titanium flange helps the diaphragm respond more precisely to the audio signal, and the 6N-OFC voice coil ensures signal transmission.

The magnesium alloy yokes are angled, while the ergonomic earpads and headband are covered in sheepskin. The headphones come with two detachable 3 m cables with A2DC connectors: one with a gold-plated 6.3 mm stereo plug and one balanced cable with a 4-pin XLRM plug. They are handcrafted and assembled in Tokyo.
