This review is about the colour: Blue

Personally, I got it for use and recording routes at sea with SUP and it is perfect. It records everything, even every stroke.
    Its GPS is perfect.
I have also tried it in cycling and running, and it works great.
For heart rate, if you want perfect recording, trust a chest strap. I noticed that when sweating it records incorrectly.
    Sleep, hrv, etc. are fine.
The battery lasts about a week depending on use

I bought it as a gift for my husband who is into running. It has excellent measurements and does what it promises. Comfortable and not heavy at all on his hand.
On the contrary, as soon as I turned on the watch I was shocked and disappointed and thought the money I spent was wasted. Terrible display because it's not AMOLED, not good clarity at all and graphics from an older era.
BUT that's why the battery lasts so long, which is only useful for training and races.
It is a tool only for athletes and outdoors it has exactly the brightness needed.

After using it for a month, I'll start with the positives... Measurements are flawless, I consider the external appearance and the functions of the app excellent. Now for the negatives, which for me personally are important... the screen resolution is very mediocre... the lack of a touch screen bothers me a little but it's okay... but for me its biggest problem, which made me give it 3 stars, is that its battery lasts only 4 days without much use of GPS. What I did the last 2 days is turn off the automatic screen activation with the wrist because, since I do manual work, I noticed it would turn on at the slightest movement and would drain about 25% of the battery in 24 hours... I will try it and come back with a new review...

The dial broke in 2 and a half months after purchase, I never understood how, I just saw it damaged at some point. The warranty does not cover the crack nor does the service cover the repair of the glass. The dealership asks for 156 euros to replace the watch when it was bought for 270. The whole process takes 1 month. The measurements are very good! For a broken dial that could easily happen during sports activity, you need 3/4 of the value of the watch... garmin, you're not doing well at all...
    update 8/8/25
After a year, suddenly it doesn't measure the correct heart rate! While I'm running at 150 bpm, suddenly it goes up to 190... very bad!
    update 15/10/25
At least it used to keep the GPS, you could say you had something good... The last image rejects even that...

In a year it broke. I never learned the reason. They replaced it under warranty and sent me a new watch in my old open box with wrinkled plastic stuck on the screen. Obviously, they had it in some display store. The shipping costs were, of course, mine. Service was very good from the staff.

I have had it for 8 months. I didn't get it for tracking sports activities (although it is very good at that) but for monitoring sleep, heart rate, and oxygen saturation during it. I have checked it and it really does a very good job tracking the above. It has many different features that you can monitor from the GARMINEXPRESS app on the PC

If it's your first sports watch, get it without a second thought. If you have a 235 or 245, get it after a second thought. Besides being a very good sports watch, it is also a great health assistant.

I bought it from the JMC tech store through the Scroutz website. Initially, it said it would take 10 to 30 days, but it took 40 days to arrive. Then, after ten days of use, it prompted me to do an update and the screen froze on a triangle without being able to do anything else. I let the battery drain, charged it again, and the triangle still appeared. I have sent it to the company for service, and they told me it will take another 30 business days. So, three months after ordering, I still don't have a watch in my hands.

    1. In the first comparison test of the built-in heart rate sensor with the polar OH1, the measurements of the pulses were exactly the same and reliable.
    2. As for the sensors integrated into the watch, it is a cheap 955 without a touch screen and maps, with slightly lower autonomy!
    3. The watch is made of plastic and you don't feel it on your hand as it is lightweight and compact.
    4. Definitely one of the top 3 midrange sport watches up to 400 euros!

Unfortunately, one of the worst straps, if not the worst, I have ever seen! Completely flimsy. You think that by tightening it a little, it will stay in your hand. When the time comes to take it off, that's when the trouble starts. The loop through which the strap passes gets dangerously stuck, and I see it lasting for about 2-3 months.
In terms of functionality, it's fine without me having dealt with it

I will only talk about open water swimming because it is the sport I am involved in, which requires a very good GPS signal from the respective watch (running, cycling, etc. are all included). I am impressed with this particular watch for its accuracy in open water. By selecting the GPS option: all+ multi band, it measures very well without any interruption to find the signal or delay in measurement, etc. For me, it is the best. I believe someone who is involved in open water swimming needs either the 255 or 955 or the fenix 7 sapphire, which have the corresponding GPS indicators.

After 15 months of use, I remain excited.
(In the photo, you can see one of the many faces I downloaded from the Garmin site.)

Very good watch with accuracy. The GPS is fantastic, showing in detail the parts I ran. Its battery is unbelievable, after 8 days of use with simple GPS on, I put it on charge at 20%.

  • Personally, I got it for use and recording routes at sea with SUP and it is perfect.

  • I bought it as a gift for my husband who is into running.

  • After using it for a month, I'll start with the positives...
