I bought it for ferrets but the cats got to it first. I wiped it because I read that their fur repels ferrets but still nothing, they don't pay any attention to it. Also, it should have an exit on the opposite side because the animals can't reverse to get out and there should be an easier way to place the bait on the tray because you have to put the cage somewhere higher and put your whole hand inside. Maybe I'm not placing it in the right spot either, it would help if there were some instructions included with the trap.
Το αγόρασα για κουνάβια αλλά πρόλαβαν οι γάτες. Το σκούπισα γιατί διάβασα πως οι τρίχες τους διώχνουν τα κουνάβια αλλά και πάλι τίποτα, δεν του δίνουν σημασία. Επίσης θα έπρεπε να έχει έξοδο από την αντίθετη μεριά γιατί τα ζώα δεν μπορούν να βάλουν όπισθεν για να βγουν και πιο εύκολο τρόπο για να τοποθετείς το δόλωμα επάνω στο δισκάκι γιατί πρέπει να το βάλεις το κλουβί κάπου πιο ψηλά και να βάλεις όλο το χέρι σου μέσα. Ίσως να μην το τοποθετώ και σε σωστό σημείο, θα βοηθούσε εάν υπήρχαν κάποιες οδηγίες μαζί με την παγίδα.
Very good build quality. Simple and reliable mechanism. I use it for ferrets and within 2 days I had 2 out of 2 successes using dry cat food as bait. I release the trapped animals in a forested area far from settlements.
A significant improvement would be easier access to the bait grid through some hatch.
