The tent was tested for mountain hiking and overnight stays at high altitudes, mainly in August.
-Regarding the issue of heat during midday hours, the tent is quite cool, especially if you have the ventilation flaps open.
-As for the cold and nighttime temperatures at these altitudes above 2000m in August, it's around 6 degrees Celsius, so I can't say it's a warm tent. You will definitely need a good sleeping bag and sleeping pad.
-I have no complaints about its waterproofing, as it was tested in very harsh conditions on Mount Olympus (outside the petrostouga at 2000m and on the plateau of Muses at 2600m) during heavy rain (Thalia 2020), and we stayed dry along with our equipment. The quality of the materials is really good, and I never felt like I was straining it.
-When packed, it takes up very little space with the help of the compression sack it comes with, and its weight is quite good. It comfortably accommodates two average-sized individuals.
-Finally, the negatives are that the floor doesn't inspire confidence to use it everywhere, especially on rocky ground, and the footprint is sold separately at a fairly high price.
-What I suggest is to measure the dimensions of the floor and make your own durable tarp from canvas, and you will be safe from rocks and dry from rain.
