A basic requirement for achieving good results is thorough preparation. After removing all old paints, rust, and oils, we sand and remove the dust with a cloth.

On new polyester surfaces, it is important to remove oily substances. The following procedure is recommended: Wash and scrub the surface with warm water and soap (detergent). Follow with a thorough rinse, drying, and cleaning with solvent. Next, sandpaper the surface and remove the dust with a brush and a cloth dampened with solvent. The surface is now ready to be painted. With any other procedure, there is a risk that oily substances will be trapped inside the surface during sanding, making painting impossible afterward. Prime with UNI-PRIMER, 1-2 coats.

New surfaces of plaster, concrete, bricks, cement:

We apply POLACRYL 301 until the surface is saturated. We prime with UNI-PRIMER, 1-2 coats.

New wood surfaces:
We apply POLACRYL 301 until the surface is saturated. We prime with UNI-PRIMER, 1-2 coats.

Old repainted surfaces:
We sand the surface. We apply 1-2 coats of UNI-PRIMER.

• Stir component A well before use and once homogenized, gradually add component B while continuously stirring.
• Apply ensuring enough paint for an entire section. This practice is important to achieve a perfect result.
• Before application, surfaces are sanded with appropriate sandpaper.
• To avoid bubbles during application, perform the work in the shade as much as possible.
• Do not apply when air and surface temperatures are below 5°C or above 30ºC, or when relative humidity is greater than 70%.
• Good ventilation of the area is required during application due to hazardous fumes.
• After UNI-PRIMER dries, sand, remove dust, and apply the two-component polyurethane paint system of your choice (POLYGLOSS, ANTISKID, POOLGLOSS, MONOTRETEN) or one of the antifouling paints from the TROPIKAL series.

• The ambient temperature and the thickness of the coating determine the drying time required.
• Surface drying: 1 hour.
• Repainting time: 4-6 hours.
• Coverage: 10-14m²/lt, depending on the thickness of each layer and the absorbency of the surface.
