The Ultra High Speed HDMI cable is designed to transmit high-resolution images over long distances without quality loss. HDMI 2.1 cables allow for the full utilization of the capabilities of modern 4K displays with a 120 Hz refresh rate, or televisions with the highest available resolutions of 5K and 8K.

In Clarac's HDMI AOC (Active Optical Cable), data transmission is hybrid: 4 very thin optical fibers carry TMDS data, and 7 galvanized copper wires are responsible for grounding, power supply, Ethernet, and additional functions. The optical fiber cables are compatible with standard HDMI ports on all devices, as signal conversion occurs in chips placed inside the cable sockets.

Less interference: Optical fiber does not produce or is sensitive to electrical interference, emitted for example by wi-fi networks, ensuring the highest clarity of image and sound.

Lighter: The diameter of long optical HDMI cables is only 5 mm, which would not be possible with classic copper cables. Cables longer than 10 m are pre-assembled on a reel, making assembly and storage easier. Shorter ones are packaged in a special anti-static film that protects them during transport and storage.

Bends: Typically, optical fiber cables have a limited bend radius despite their small diameter. In Clarac cables, this radius has been reduced to only 2 cm, making them more durable and easier to stack.

Metal tips: Advanced laser emission chips placed in the cable sockets protect their stability.
