Fantastic. It easily read even a scratched Blu-ray disc that used to leave my movie halfway. It works steadily and flawlessly.

So far -with the appropriate software- everything is good regarding what I expected, i.e., for burning UHD 4k optical discs as well as a player.

I have been using it since 2017 with Nero burner and I have written around 400 Blu-ray discs for general backup, all with data verification, and it only gave me an error on one disc..! It plays Blu-ray movies with the installation of a special program, such as PowerDVD. It is recognized by older operating systems, even Windows XP.

Flawless, if God had eyes, it would look like this!!! I've had it for a year now, it's 4K Friendly and plays 4K natively. Of course, I have it on a computer with two 3090s bridged together, and with the right program, you can watch 4K using CyberLink PowerDVD22. The movies look like I'm watching them in the cinema, and the sound is equally flawless with a 5.1 setup. I send the sound to the amplifier, and the picture and sound captivate you!! A thousand bravo to Asus for the 4K Blu-ray Drive!!! I recommend it to those who are cinephiles and to those who want to transfer files from old DVDs to the hard drive quickly and easily

It's worth the money, it's also mdisc for making archival recordings that last for centuries (mdiscs are archival and have a lifespan of about 1000 years without use, obviously they degrade with each use).

It is plug and play, meaning you just plug it in and it works without any extra hassle.

I have had it since 2022 and I have made several backups for images, videos, and files. I have written everything with the Windows recording program and the process is like copying your files to another folder.

It's not 100% silent but no DVD/CD/BluRay Drive is. When it's writing, it obviously makes the expected noise.

It is a UHD Friendly drive, which means it can play and copy 4K HDR movies and discs. Anyone who has a 4K HDR TV doesn't need to buy a special Blu-Ray, just connect their computer to the TV.

So far, I haven't encountered any compatibility issues with discs, no matter what type of disc I have recorded on, whether it's DVD or Blu-Ray, it hasn't failed to burn a single one.
