The Aqua Pure APROPMALK5050 reverse osmosis system filters water in 7 stages and includes a pump and an 11-liter storage tank. It is installed under the kitchen counter, while the dispensing faucet is fitted on the countertop or sink. The final stage enriches the water with alkaline ions and trace minerals.

The stages include sediment and activated carbon filters, a VONTRON 50 GPD TFC (Thin Film Composite) membrane, a carbon post-filter, a mineralization filter and an alkaline ion filter. The system is stated to reduce a wide range of substances by up to 97%, including chlorine, pesticides, heavy metals, bacteria, dissolved solids and turbidity. The membrane separates 95–99.9% of dissolved contaminants, chemicals, solids, metals, bacteria and microorganisms.
