The EXCITE rod series from DRAGON stands out for its variety of models. It includes rods for HRF and Light-Medium Light spinning, designed with the quality that characterizes DRAGON, thanks to the use of TORAY blanks.
The Excite rods feature an extremely fast tip action and modern design, while having an ergonomic construction that meets the needs of spinners. The slim design reduces weight without compromising strength. Their action is X-Fast, and the guides are ceramic SIC with an IPS & ACS reel seat.
For their construction, three different layers of graphite from TORAY have been used, with the first layer being 24i 30mln PSI. High-spec graphite has been used in specific areas to optimize the fast action, while high-strength composite graphite protects the blank. The guides are SEA GUIDE with a ceramic SIC ring.
The handle is made of a one-piece durable EVA for better grip and protection. The modern IPS and ACS handles provide additional comfort. The final finish is done with a two-component epoxy varnish TRONDAK. The thread for binding the guides comes from the American company GUDEBROD.
