Since I haven't had them for a long time, I won't comment on their durability, but judging by the other Salomon shoes I've used so far, they should last.
The shoe adapted easily to my foot, it's comfortable, doesn't tire me at all. It seems to let the foot breathe, used on daily routes of 6-8 kilometers, always in an urban environment and always on tile-concrete.
Their main feature is their very light weight. Especially when compared to winter sports shoes.
Something that surprised me is that they have a hard to quite hard tread. This is probably because they are also made for the countryside according to the manufacturer. After all, the sole is grooved and not like sports shoes.
Even market shoes (regardless of whether they will fall apart within a month), you feel them softer on the sole. So, if you are used to living on 3 inches of gel, foam, compressed air, or anything else, you will be surprised.
Nevertheless, they didn't hurt me anywhere, nor would I say that the above fact strains the feet.
And I conclude with the fact that finally a shoe with laces that stay tied with a simple bow, without needing to be retied every so often.
Update: In May 2025, they reached the end, two years later. Worn from April to October daily, and November to February whenever it wasn't cold. 7 to 10 thousand steps every day and apart from the worn sole at the heel, they showed nothing. Nothing tore, nothing came apart. But the fabric or plastic or whatever it is, started to wear out exactly where the toes end and the foot bends due to use.
I conclude with something I never mentioned, their sole, which is also used in their other shoes, is quite slippery on flat surfaces if wet and requires PARTICULAR attention.
