Description

Description

The vessel, in this case the design, constitutes a structural symbol of writing suggesting the notion of design, encounter, and the liminal space.

The studies in the book converge on exploring the poetics of the liminal, focusing on the third space (dia), the intermediary, that is, the space of transformations and intersections, of selective kinships, of similarities and differences that often lead to creative transformation or the emergence of new hybrid sometimes forms (intertextual transformations, morphological reforms, genre and mythical transformations, inter-artistic correlations, cross-cultural relations, new hybrid identities, etc.).

Hybridism is explored analogously in different cultural data and is produced from the harmony of the arts, the synthesis of forms, the mingling of genres but is also understood as division, bifurcation, transformation, or reshaping of homelands, places, and identities.

How is the mobility of literary works achieved? How do literary works develop unexpected connections, due to causal relations, parallel, for instance, or analogous historical, social, and cultural conditions or unconscious eruptions?

The studies in question focus on aesthetic, poetic, stylistic, and ideological queries in the literary field of the 19th and 20th centuries.
