The pickups are connected through a single volume control and two tone controls, as well as a five-way pickup selector switch, so selecting your tones is never a problem.

The volume and tone controls allow you to further shape your sound in the way you see fit. The bridge pickup has its own special tone knob, for adjustment where a warmer sound is required from the bridge pickup.

John Mayer has been collaborating with PRS since 2004, when he introduced his first electric guitar with his signature, the John Mayer Signature Model. This guitar was manufactured at PRS factories in Stevensville, Maryland and features a range of unique characteristics.

Following this success, Mayer continued to work with PRS to create various guitar models that introduced new features and design elements. Some of these models include the John Mayer Silver Sky, a guitar inspired by the iconic Fender Stratocaster, and the John Mayer Super Eagle, a guitar that combines features from various other guitar models.
