Description & Specifications

The radishes are upside down. They will not go unread! Lamentation, weeping, and wailing and sighing and sorrow in the bookstores throughout the land! Vanitas vanitatum et omnia vanitas, or in other words, Vanity of vanities, all is vanity, or Death has gone hunting, or this earth that we all tread, we shall enter!

After such grief and sorrow, we inform all of you, the friends, the mourners, and the heavy-hearted readers, that after 4 years of success (or after-funeral) in stages, platforms, corridors, balconies, pergolas, and drywall, the theatrical play by George Galitis "The Radishes Are Upside Down" is now published as a book by Vakxikon.gr, in print, electronic, waterproof, underwater, air-to-air, and ground-to-ground editions.

Oh, yes! The darkest, spiderless, heart-wrenching, hilarious and selfie-driven show for harpsichord, bassoon, coffin and ossuary, which was buried by the audience and critics, although it went unwept, it shall not go unread! "The Radishes Are Upside Down" is released more upside down than ever with green (cypress) growth, purple ribbons, wreaths, koliva-souvlaki-toast, fuses, comforting coffees (espresso, cappuccino, freddo, decaf) and coffins made of mahogany, deep panelled type with double cherry and black lacquer coloring or with double-opening lids, satin lining, pillow, and handmade handles on the outside.

A few words about the book: these. Fewer words about the book: "The Radishes Are Upside Down" is a comedy of 13, a one dead man show, a black total comedic monologue with thirteen roles. Thirteen comic eulogies that resurrect even the dead!

Unfortunately, dear reader friends, an even more unpleasant surprise awaits you: "The Radishes Are Upside Down" is being released double! Thirteen plus thirteen! Oh, yes! In this black and spiderless book, the Upside Down Radishes are included together (and upside down). This is a reverse bonus (or pain) book with plus thirteen eulogies that never saw the light of publicity.

And the questions remain: What do a rapper and a general have in common? A Cretan and a cook? A politician and a ship owner's widow? An abbot and a thief? And the answer too: Of course, they all have seen and read "The Radishes Are Upside Down." Where? In all the bookstores! When? From early February 2015 until the end of December 2145.

Read "The Radishes Are Upside Down" yourselves and we hope you die laughing! Life in your words and in ours, the undead! We had one life, may you live to remember us.
