You buy it and in the end there is a chance you won't play. I imagine we should normally be able to get our money back with compensation from the company that made it. 2026... we are still waiting for a game worthy of Tolkien's world.

So, The Lord of the Rings: Gollum is the epitome of what a title should not be in our days, offering a completely disastrous technical aspect, gameplay and graphics from another era, missions that become a chore, and a narrative so problematic that it practically nullifies its connection to the LOTR universe. The lack of imagination in all its aspects, as well as the visual result that in no way justifies the numerous delays in its release, unfortunately turn it into a title that no matter how much it "fixes" with future patches, we will not be able to recommend it to anyone.

This game does not exist, it is the worst thing you can play. If you want to torture someone, make them play this game.

We simply live with the dream that someday, a team, a company, somewhere, will create an open world Lord of the Rings game. With the entire map of Middle-earth, they will choose an interesting story and give us a masterpiece to play for many years. Is it so difficult to create a world comparable in graphics and environment to games like Ghost of Tsushima, Horizon, Elden Ring? To have a character with character development like Witcher 3, AC Valhalla, etc.? You are the whole LORD OF THE RINGS FRANCHISE... enough already!!!!!!!!! Everything is ready, from enemies to environment, one should not imagine anything... they just need to create something similar. Even in Harry Potter, they somehow managed it, and even though the gameplay of Hogwarts Legacy was mediocre, they still achieved something! It's already 2024 and there still hasn't been a LOTR game worthy of the movies.
