    The CO₂ cartridge is a small, single-use metal cylinder filled with compressed carbon dioxide (CO₂).


    It is placed in the gun as a power source for propelling the pellets (or for greater realism with Blowback).

    It means that the trigger performs two separate actions with one pull: it cocks (pulls back) the hammer and releases the hammer to fire the gun.

    - Accuracy: May be less accurate when shooting at a target because the long/heavy trigger pull can move the gun if you don’t have good technique.

    - Speed: Allows for rapid shots without manual cocking, useful in self-defense or situations where you want a quick first shot.

A piece of history, the Smith & Wesson M29 has been described in many ways. Thanks to its impressive design and high quality, all models bearing this name have made it famous. The 4.5 mm CO₂ version of this 1960s icon is available in a full metal with a shiny blue finish and the option of three barrel lengths.

True to the original, it requires six metal brass-colored shells, each loaded with a steel BB. Fired with a single/double action trigger, the BBs leave the barrel with a maximum muzzle energy of three joules. The 8 3/8" version offers the added advantage of a longer sight line.

The rear sight of all versions is adjustable for elevation and lift. A piercing tool for the 12 g CO2 cartridge is located in the handle for easy access.
