This product is not intended to unclog a stuffy nose! It does a great job of dissolving whatever is accumulated in the sinuses and therefore helps with sinusitis! I have purchased the product from abroad at least a decade ago. I have used it twice every two years. It had perfect results for both me and my husband. I had no discomfort for at least 3-4 years. The second application was preventive. I experienced quite a bit of pain during the first one, while the discomfort was minimal during the second one. I have advanced sinusitis with polyps in the sinuses.

It helps with severe nasal congestion caused by mucus in case of infection. As soon as you apply it, you feel a strong burning sensation for a few minutes that causes tearing, sneezing, and creates the need to blow your nose. However, while it helps with expelling mucus, it does not fully unclog the nose when it is swollen. It only helps with getting rid of excess mucus. The result does not last for many hours. For me, it had no significant result, washes with normal saline or isotonic seawater provide the same result and are much more economical. Even the feeling of tingling that some people mention was so intense for me that I felt it as a severe burning sensation to the point of tearing up.
