Excel BeeSafe hive paint is a hybrid elastomeric water-based paint that coats and insulates hives, forming a waterproof, elastic membrane. It provides thermal protection and heat reflection, and resists rain, moisture, temperature fluctuations, snow, intense sunlight, and chemical pollution. The hive surface is protected from dirt and soil.
Apply with a roller or brush, diluted with 15–20% water. Apply two coats, allowing 12–24 hours of drying time between coats, depending on weather conditions. One package covers 5–7 m² in two coats.
