Vario-Constamatic (VC) full-wave electronic system for stepless speed change. Optional reduction of speed and impact energy for working on softer materials. Electronic soft start for precise drilling start. Optimal heat dissipation and low weight thanks to the magnesium die-cast gear housing. Metabo S-automatic safety clutch to limit any reverse torque that occurs. Restart protection: prevents unintentional start-up after a power interruption. Chiseling and drilling with minimal dust using the ESA max dust extractor attachment (accessory). Brush wear indicator. Service display, e.g., indicates when the brush needs to be replaced and an LED that shows the mains voltage.
