Description

Description

Equipped with a suction system, constant speed maintenance, and overload protection. Provides high material removal performance and flawless final results on every sanding-polishing of flat and curved surfaces.

  • Velcro pad
  • Suction system
  • Constant speed maintenance system
  • Overload protection
  • Includes accessories
  • Eccentricity 5mm

Features

  • It has the ability to adjust the rotational speed for optimal work depending on the substrate and a suction system which helps in collecting dust residues during the operation of the tool.

What is a brushless motor?

In DC motors, at the point where the electric current is supplied to their rotating part, two brushes (also called brushes or carbon brushes) are used. Over time, due to friction, the brushes wear out and need to be replaced. For this reason, in recent years, brushless motors have been developed, which greatly surpass a brushed motor.

Advantages

  • Due to the absence of brushes, they exhibit minimal mechanical wear and the need for maintenance is minimized.
  • They have higher efficiency.
  • No noise and sparks are caused by friction.
  • They achieve very high speeds.

Specifications

  • With a 350 Watt Brushless motor
  • Circular sanding base with a diameter of 150mm
  • Eccentricity: 5mm
  • Operates at 10,000 revolutions per minute and is ideal for sanding curved surfaces
  • With adjustable speed control
  • Weight: 2.04kg
  • Dimensions (LxHxW): 35x19x13.5cm

    • I've struggled with some Parkside and some Einhell, I do 4-5 jobs a year, and since I was at my wit's end I went to my father-in-law and asked, do you have a sander? And he gave me this one!

Immediately I felt like I went from a Smart to a Bugatti, this tool is unbelievable, you can't hear a thing, it doesn't need force, it cuts a lot, I have nothing else to say to praise it except to see how it holds up over time

Very good sander for its price. It does one quarter of the price of the festool and is almost equivalent except that the festool is slightly more powerful and has a greater eccentricity, which means it sands faster, especially on unpainted surfaces. However, this does not justify the large price difference because instead of one, you get four bormanns! Even the spare parts are much cheaper, with the festool you need 70 euros to change the base while with the bormann it's 20. Now as for how long it will last, I don't know, but it seems to be well built. I have had mine for 3 months and I have changed the lights every day at work (I am a polisher) and it hasn't noticed anything, even the base, which is usually what breaks in sanders, is still sticking like the first day with the sandpaper.

    • Hello, for the money I am very satisfied. It rubs wings, doors, and even bumpers very conveniently in the hand. As for noise, it is fine, not too loud.
