The barcode scanner HR2280-S5 Dorada II Corded by Newland has been specially developed to be a cost-effective scanning solution that allows users to enjoy the capabilities of a 2D scanner at the price of a 1D scanner. Its ergonomic design and adjustable stand contribute to space saving and are ideal for use on a counter, next to the POS system.

It uses white lighting so that the red LED aimers appear clearer, ensuring that the scanner aligns the barcode correctly.

The device is IP42 certified and is resistant to drops from heights of up to 1.5 m. Its durable casing guarantees optimal protection, so drops from checkouts and counters are not an issue.

Thanks to Newland's advanced processor, the benefits of CPU-based decoding include improved configurations for data handling, as well as additional flexibility to add more barcode symbologies, such as the Italian Pharma code and Aztec/tracking.

Additionally, it is autosense ready, meaning it can switch from trigger press to handsfree by placing the scanner on the adjustable stand.
