    It arrived slightly charged, the laptop was functioning normally, but it DID NOT charge. (When I put my old battery back in, it works and charges normally.)

    I have ordered the same battery 2 times, in case the 1st one was defective, but I had the same experience.

    There is a chance it simply may not be compatible, that's why I am not giving less than 4 stars, I just wanted to inform in case someone has the same :)

    Update 21/7/2026: The battery does not last more than 1 hour no matter what you do. In fact, with intensive use (accounting office) the battery does not last even 30 minutes. Too bad.

    The battery was bought for 30 euros. It was installed in an HP 255 G7, Model:RTL8821CE
    The installation was easy and took about 15 minutes. After following the charging and discharging instructions for calibrating the battery, the laptop lasts about 4-5 hours of work. It seems to be a reliable replacement part, however I will come back with anything that arises.
