Performance: BMC air filters are designed and produced to ensure higher air flow than original paper filters. In F1, BMC fiberglass filters minimize airflow pressure loss passing through the filter, ensuring the best conditions for fully exploiting maximum power. Replacing the original paper filter with the BMC fiberglass air filter, manufactured with the same technology and materials as F1 air filters, offers noticeable benefits.
Design and Materials: BMC's specialized engineers use advanced software and the latest technologies in the production of BMC air filters. F1 filters are very lightweight, made from the best raw materials, improving performance. Only woven alloys with epoxy coating are used to protect against gasoline fumes and oxidation due to moisture. The filtering material is a special cotton gauze impregnated with low-viscosity oil, offering the best possible air permeability.
Advanced Technology: BMC’s technical staff has developed a production system using soft rubber molding, producing the characteristic red BMC filters. They are manufactured in a single piece without glued joints at the corners, avoiding the risk of breaking. This system, known as “Full Molding,” stems from research and development in F1 and is vital for the technical and quality characteristics of BMC air filters.
