    It works everywhere and for all types of fishing, it is a versatile rod. Although I have other specialized rods for LRF, spinning, HRF, jigging, and egging, I mainly use this one and it gets the job done. If you mainly fish jigging from a boat, you can remove the white part at the tip. I have it paired with the Daiwa Ninja lt 3000, and it performs exceptionally well in shore slow fishing with artificial Palms. Give it a try. I prefer the 2.70 version, which has a line weight of 30-120 and is the most versatile.
