She is lonely and has no companionship, but one day she learns about a secret garden somewhere on the estate that no one is allowed to enter. Now in a beautiful cloth cover, with a moving introduction by Sophie Dahl. It also includes a behind-the-scenes tour, featuring a profile of the author, a guide to the characters, activities, and more.

Frances Hodgson Burnett (1849-1924) was born in Manchester. With a very poor upbringing, she often escaped the terror of her surroundings by writing stories.
