    I can't understand why it has such a high price. It's a simple machine, it only works with 6.4 spiral (only one size!). It doesn't close the rest correctly. It only makes the holes correctly and those are for up to 6 pages of 80gsm. For covers, you have to put the pages 2-2 if they are heavy photographic paper.
    For about 50 calendars with 6 pages + cover + back cover, it was extremely difficult, but okay, it did the job. I have a plastic spiral machine for less than half the price, much sturdier and more efficient.
    Unfortunately, there is nothing else for a metal spiral at this price.

    Very good product for household amateur use, it accepts up to 3 sheets at a time and one transparency. I am not sure about its durability over time

    Edit 1: I have found a used professional machine so, although this one is 100% functional, I have it on Skoop for sale, it is in its original packaging and I also have photos.

    Edit 2: Sold for 30 euros, I hope it will be just as useful in their hands as it was in mine.

    ~~~
    Below is my review which still stands today.
    Purchased for 65 euros, there is no cheaper wire binding machine in Greece, so even though it is relatively expensive compared to machines for plastic spirals, it is the only option. I don't like the familiar plastic spiral used in all copy shops.
    I no longer buy notepads and notebooks since I make them with my printer using A4 paper, which costs 1/5 to 1/10 of the price compared to buying a ready-made notebook or notepad. The spirals are all reusable, you don't throw them away, so it's even cheaper. The simple spiral you just unwind and add new sheets, and the wire you see in the photo, you just open it a bit, remove the sheets, and close it again. You can also make the classic spiral yourself with simple wire, which is very cheap.
    I have changed the covers on many existing notebooks by printing 300-gram sheets with my computer for my nieces and nephews, and they love it because I can print any character they want, so they have notebooks that no other child has. When they finish their bought ones, we won't buy new ones, I'll make them and use the spirals from the existing notebooks.
    NOTE: You need to be careful to insert the papers correctly and as far in as possible so that they all come out the same and you don't have issues later. It says it can take up to 6 sheets of 80 grams, but I put up to 4 if they're thin to be sure, and if they're a bit thicker, then 2 so I never damage the machine.
    Negatives:
    It can ONLY close 6.4mm spirals; if it's bigger, it won't fit under the press, and if it's smaller, it probably won't close it enough. This is the only negative I find.
    I learned to close them by hand carefully, so I have no problem.
    Price:
    Personally, it has already paid for itself, so I don't regret the purchase. With double the money, I could have bought one from abroad that's a bit sturdier with more features and the ability to close all spiral sizes. Essentially, this one makes the holes, and there is no cheaper machine than this.
    ~~~
    I got spirals from 6.4mm up to 22.2mm, but not all of them work; the very large ones have a greater distance between them for the holes and require larger holes. I will give you links to see what I bought and what works; whichever one you check, you'll see images showing the difference in the review I made.

    I have NOT bought all possible sizes to know from which size and up they don't work. For example, if there is an 18mm, I don't know if it fits; the largest I tried that fit was 15.9mm, the next one I got was 19mm, and it doesn't work.

    The spirals I have bought and that fit are:
    6.4mm: https://tinyurl.com/mtvt66wz
    8mm: https://tinyurl.com/bdz2cfyj
    9.5mm: https://tinyurl.com/mpmnxx3k
    11.1mm: https://tinyurl.com/23yfx254
    12.7mm: https://tinyurl.com/ye25py2z
    14.3mm: https://tinyurl.com/347bsjpr
    15.9mm: https://tinyurl.com/yc2ze6mb

    The 19mm and 22.2mm ones that do not fit the machine are these:
    19mm: https://tinyurl.com/esk4e2pd
    22.2mm: https://tinyurl.com/esk4e2pd

    In the photo you see a notepad I made for my mother, look closely at the holes, they are exactly like the store-bought ones.

    I also translated a book into Greek and printed it for my nieces and nephews.
