The Albanian worker Novruz Abilekan arrived, as always, first at the intersection of Ithaki and Agios Gerasimos streets in Alimos, where the construction site he worked at as a builder was located. He parked his motorbike, rubbed his frozen, calloused hands, and then went to open the makeshift wooden door that was secured with a thick wire cable. On Christmas morning in 1984, in Spandau, Berlin, a man commits suicide by plunging into the icy waters of the Havel River. His death will give rise to the wolf of loneliness.
On October 23, 1994, the brutal murder of a woman in Berlin shocks Germany. That night, the wolf will howl for the first time. The case is considered unsolvable and is archived.

Deputy Inspector Evridiki Tzelis, who takes on the case of an unprecedented murder that shocks Greece, notices something that no one has seen. From that moment on, her life is in danger, though she does not know it. As the wolf of loneliness howls, memories lurk, and a killer awakens...
