Thin material but I wore it for several months while cycling and it has endured my excessive sweat, sun, and dust, without significant alteration to the white color. It's somewhat tricky, though, in its fastening as the strap has to go under the buckle, which makes it difficult to achieve a comfortable fit. Most of the time I felt it was too tight and I needed two or three attempts until I got it to my size.
