  • Hello,
First of all, I would like to inform you that those who use a boiler system iron should not expect to find a lightweight steam iron!
Our friend gifted us the Philips GC5034/20 Steam Iron 3000W for €120, while another friend bought this iron for €39...
I can assure you that it has nothing to envy from an expensive iron!
The ironing quality result is exactly the same! Quite good but NOT like a boiler!
Both of them drip water if they are not properly heated.
The only difference is that the Philips iron can iron everything without temperature adjustment, while the Sencor iron needs temperature adjustment to avoid sticking to the fabric...
Both of them have the negative aspect of being heavy! I have a problem with my hand and they tire me quickly!
If I didn't have that problem, I would definitely not have an issue!
I would say that the Sencor is better because it is slightly lighter.
One "negative" aspect that might bother someone is that it emits a strange smell during the first uses!
Like burning wires... but don't worry, over time and after several uses, the smell disappears!
At first, I was scared, but when I saw that after a few minutes the clothes don't smell bad, only softener, I calmed down!
In short: if I had the budget, I would definitely only buy a boiler!
However, if I could only buy a steam iron, I would definitely buy the Sencor because it has nothing to envy from the others!
As for the price and quality, I consider it to be money for value!!!
