It cools well, but in order to work, it needs to take air from some external space with the hose it has, and for that to happen, you have to lower the shutters to isolate the heat coming in from outside and keep the window open because of the hose. It also makes a lot of noise, and if used in the bedroom, you can't sleep! Also, keep in mind that it took over 20 days to arrive!!!
