  • Very nice watch! Bought for a child! Durable and resistant to use! It has even been in the sea without any problem.

Very good, easy-to-use, lightweight watch. Clear screen, quite bright lighting for nighttime hours, and the way the lunar phase and tide are calculated is interesting. I do not agree with those who claim that it has a difficult menu. I had a similar solar watch and the method of operation does not change much. A year has passed and the battery still hasn't run out! This review is about the strap colour: Blue

I bought it for my 10-year-old son. I chose it because it had a basic scientific interest compared to watches that only had the time and a stopwatch. It is large for his wrist, in terms of appearance, but not so problematic that he wouldn't wear it. It's flashy, which is something kids want. Be careful, it needs to be set so that it shows the tide correctly for Greece (Athens longitude 23.8 and Athens UTC time, that is London +2). It arrived set for the tide as if it was in Tokyo. Unfortunately, the store either didn't know or didn't bother to set it correctly. Also, the manual doesn't help much with how to set the tide correctly. I downloaded the foreign manual and set it correctly for the longitude of Athens. I checked on websites and mobile apps that it shows the tide and ebb correctly, as well as the phases of the moon. It's very impressive. Especially for its very low price. It makes the child think about what all these things are and want to discover them as concepts. Prefer it over a watch that does the usual things since it doesn't actually cost more.

On the downside, it's difficult to set up.

Update 2 years later. It still works fine. Also, try showing a photo of the watch to an A.I. program like ChatGPT and it will find out which watch it is and help you make any settings you want without struggling with the manual, like I did two years ago when I bought it.

Very honest watch for its price. It has capabilities that you definitely encounter in other price levels. I have worn it daily and mistreated it (it has taken many dives in the sea as well), I have worn it almost everywhere and apart from a few scratches, it is still in great condition. I recommend it!

I chose it in gray because I already have other black ones, and for the tide and moon phase indicators.
Basically, it's a summer watch. Suitable for swimming and free diving. Very large 51x51 mm diameter and 15 mm thickness of the case, but it doesn't appear bulky on a wrist size of 19 and above.
    I like:
Model 2022, the quality of Casio resin, the discreet function indicators on the bezel, the gold casing of the moon, the screen protection, the readable and clear dial (also for presbyopes), the 10-year battery life, the illusion of wearing a lightweight and comfortable G-Shock.
    I don't like:
The acrylic glass, the illumination, and the plastic buckle for cost-saving purposes. For around 30 euros, it's good. Casio watches don't break or malfunction.
Now, for tide and moon phase adjustment, anyone who wants can ask.
