Description

Battery-operated pruning shears by Kraft. They are comfortable to use, as the user does not need to exert the force required with manual shears. They can be used for all gardening tasks and cut branches up to 35 millimeters in diameter.

Brushless Motor

Less wear, greater performance

The advantage that brushless motors have over brushed ones is that they do not have friction since there are no carbon brushes. Without carbon brushes, the motors are more efficient and have a longer lifespan as there is no wear and tear (the carbon brushes in brushed motors wear out with use). They produce less noise, maintain their torque consistently at all speeds, do not overheat, and require no maintenance.

What is a brushless motor?

In electric motors, at the point where the electric current is supplied to the rotating part, two brushes (also called brushes or carbon brushes) are used. Over time, due to friction, the brushes wear out and need to be replaced. For this reason, in recent years, brushless electric motors have been developed, which are far superior to a brushed motor.

    I bought two of these, one for myself in October 23 and it worked until today, the other one I bought two weeks ago! One broke within 5 days and the other one today! Stay away! It doesn't even cut the thinnest branch! There is a noise like it's grinding the gears! One lasted for 2 months, the other one for 5 days! I returned it and I'm waiting for the verdict! Note that I used it on small branches, it didn't cut thick ones!
