Well-made cable but some details need attention:
- It connects to usb-a, so it will provide 5V/2.4A, which is 12W, to Apple mobile devices. Apple has now switched to power delivery, so for higher wattage, a cable with a usb-c connector is needed. Also, recently, it has transitioned to usb-c for the mobile port. Therefore, lightning is gradually becoming a legacy connector.
- The micro-b connector provides 18 watts from a usb-a quick charge 3.0 charging port, and the wattage is as indicated on the connector.
- The type-c connector with 100 watts is useful for Huawei/Honor supercharge. For those who have Huawei/Honor devices, it will be useful with the corresponding charger and phone. Most mobile devices with qc3.0 support draw up to 18 watts.
- It does not allow high power pass-through for Supervooc. Samsung uses power delivery, and Xiaomi has its own way as well.
Personally, I purchased the cable to experiment with voltage triggers, special devices that regulate the charger's voltage without a mobile device being present.
For the everyday user, it is useful for Huawei/Honor devices and for compatibility with older devices.
