After a while, I picked up the RE series again. I had been looking at Village for a long time, so I "played it right" and first played 7 to get into the mood with Ethan to be "prepared" for Village.
Well, for those who are fans of the RE series that we grew up with in the 90s playing the first RE games on PS1 consoles: Play Village without hesitation. Already from RE 7, CAPCOM started to "deviate" a bit from its classic formula. In Village, it took it several levels further, changing the setting to a mountainous village in Romania, with all that entails for the history of Romania and vampires! I don't have much to say about the captivating story, just amazing. Personally, I completed it on Series S and I have to mention that in 80% of the game, a very good job was done with the graphics; however, in a specific level, I think it needed a lot more work on the visual aspect. I assume it's because I had Ray Tracing enabled, and there were quite a few frame drops, but only in that level.
In conclusion: a fantastic game, with a story and an ending that will touch you, especially now that we officially know there is a continuation with RE9.

Λοιπόν, για όσους είναι λάτρεις της σειράς RE που μεγαλώσαμε στα 90’s παίζοντας τα πρώτα παιχνίδια RE στις κονσόλες PS1 : Παίξτε το Village άφοβα. Ήδη απ το RE 7 η CAPCOM άρχισε να «ξέφευγει» λίγο απ την κλασική συνταγή της. Στο Village το πήγε αρκετά επίπεδα παραπέρα, αλλάζοντας τοπίο το οποίο μας μεταφέρει σε ορεινό χωριό της Ρουμανίας, με ο,τι συνεπάγεται αυτό για την ιστορίας της Ρουμανιας και τους βρυκολακες ! Καθηλωτική ιστορία δεν έχω να πω πολλά πάνω σε αυτή, απλά εκπληκτική. I play it on Xbox One X and it's the smoothest and nicest thing I've seen lately in an FPS theme game.
Also, one issue I raised in the last resident evil was that its difficulty was enormous, and that was one reason why I sold it.

Το παίζω στο Xbox One X και είναι ότι πιο smooth και ωραίο έχω δει τελευταία σε FPS theme game.
Επίσης ένα θέμα που έθιξα στο τελευταίο resident evil ήταν ότι η δυσκολία του ήταν τεράστια , και αυτός ήταν ένας λόγος που το έχω πουλήσει.
Εδώ στο 8 όμως είναι κατά κάποιο τρόπο πιο εύκολο και δεν σου βγαίνει τόσο η πίστη, πολύ δυνατά όπλα , ήχοι , και η ιστορία θα ήθελα λίγο περισσότερο χρόνο με την Dimitrescu αλλά νταξει ήταν 50-50.
Δυνατό παιχνίδι γενικώς το προτείνω σε οποίους το σκέφτονται.
I hadn't played RE in a while and I admit I missed it.
The story is what it is - some people like this part, others don't.
The only "negative" thing I have to say is that it seemed a bit easy
