SERENADE ASO® is a formulation based on the strain of Bacillus amyloliquefaciens QST 713, in the form of a concentrated suspension for combating fungal and bacterial infections in outdoor and greenhouse crops, applied as needed to the foliage and/or soil.
The strain of Bacillus amyloliquefaciens QST 713 protects the plant from diseases by preventing the adhesion and penetration of pathogens into the foliage where the formulation has been applied. The development of pathogens is halted as it acts competitively with them.
The strain of Bacillus amyloliquefaciens QST 713 produces lipopeptides that act synergistically with each other, penetrating the cell membranes of pathogens and destroying the hyphae and mycelium, stopping the infection and the spread of the disease. Additionally, it induces systemic resistance in plants against attacks from fungi and bacteria.
