It was installed as the third fan in the front of the Dark Base Pro 900 case that I have. The others are Silent Wings 3 so this one is a bit louder. However, the airflow is very strong even at the middle setting and at half of that through the controller. At some point, I will replace them all.

In the past, I had previously preferred Be Quiet! with the Pure Wings 2, but maybe the batch was defective and after 6 months, 2 out of the 3 I had bought started making noise. Nevertheless, I decided to give them another chance mainly because I want my computer to be quiet and also because I consider them very beautiful fans.
I have them in a case with poor airflow (Define S2 Vision) and yet they do their job just fine. They have 3 speed "steps", and I have them on the medium one, which has a peak RPM of 1900. With a custom fan curve via BIOS linked to CPU temp during stress tests, they can be heard, but they are not annoying at all.
It is worth mentioning that I (like all the reviewers who presented it) believe that the braided cable and the reinforced connector should become an industry standard, at least for fans of this category.
So far, very satisfied, I hope I won't have to come back with negatives because when you pay around 120€ for 4 fans, you expect them to withstand the test of time. The only reason I am not giving them 5 stars is their price.

- If you see the motor, it is considerably larger in size than version 3 with the same blades.
This new version has a switch to adjust how many revolutions it turns at maximum - however, this switch is on the motor, so once you install it, you cannot change it unless you see the back of the motor.
The airflow is incredible on the medium and maximum scale - but the noise is the same.
Its construction is really sturdy, very good, very heavy - and it also provides 3 different angles.
The disadvantages are the point where the cable comes out, it cannot go right or left without causing inconvenience, and now it makes noise if you put it at high speed above 1200 rpm.
It comes in 120 and 140 sizes - they are approximately the same.
