The Optex WXS-AM wireless infrared motion sensor covers a 180° angle with two dual pyroelectric elements and features active ANTIMASKING technology. It offers DAY/NIGHT mode and SMDA logic to prevent false alarms.

Range and sensitivity can be adjusted independently for each of the two 90° areas. They can be configured to operate as two separate zones, with ALARM (L) and ALARM (R) outputs. The range is adjustable from 2.5 to 12 m at a mounting height of 0.8–1.2 m, while at a height of 2 m it is preset to 9 m.
