The Hertz HMX 8 TW coaxial marine speakers are designed and tested for use in environments with UV radiation, salt spray, vibration, water splashes, thermal shock and dust. The polypropylene cone with UV-protective additives and Santoprene surround are designed for infinite baffle applications.

The tweeter features a PEI dome and an acoustic lens for off-axis dispersion. The aramid fiber spider and silicone-insulated wires help ensure consistent performance over time, while the built-in crossover includes a resettable tweeter protection circuit.
