μπορεί να μην είναι οι καλύτεροι σε επιδόσεις fans της αγοράς πλέον αλλά εαν θέλεις κάτι διαφορετικό από το τυπικό λευκό/μαύρο fan με ένα κάρο rgbs που εξακολουθεί όμως να είναι στη κορυφή, τους θεωρώ μια εύκολη πρόταση ως κάτι αξιόπιστο που θα σε υπηρετεί πολλά χρόνια χωρίς βαβούρες. περιμένω πως και πως να ρίξω την ανερχόμενη nh-d16 μέσα στο πύργο για να είμαι μόνο με καφέ noctua fans
In 2023, there are some things you don't expect to see, especially from "high-quality" and expensive products. Based on the above, I never expected a fan that costs twice as much as its competitors and is made by a top company in its field to have motor synchronization noise. Specifically, I bought 2 NF-14A fans to replace the 2 Corsair 140mm fans in the front of my Corsair Obsidian 450D case. The reason was that while the Corsair fans were almost silent and had the same characteristics as the Noctua fans (1500 RPM), they had LEDs and were very annoying at night. As soon as I installed them, I noticed that during office tasks and with a CPU temperature of 33 degrees, my PC made a loud humming noise, while before it was completely silent. After many tests, including running the fans outside the case, I found that the noise was present in both fans. Searching a bit on the internet, I found at least 100 posts from users with the same problem, who found that it occurred at 700 RPM. So, I started playing with the fan curves and found that from 650-850 RPM, the noise was loud, while outside of these speeds, the noise was still there but very low (or it was covered by the normal fan noise at high speeds). So, I created a profile where the fans run at 550 RPM until 50 degrees, and then quickly increase to 1050 RPM and continue up to 1500 RPM (fortunately, even without these fans, the CPU temperatures don't go above 40 degrees in everything except heavy games, where it goes straight to 68 degrees and stays around there). Based on my experience and having many fans from Corsair, Cooler Master, be quiet, etc. in my various PCs, if silence is important to you, stay away from the NF-14A fans. Get something much cheaper with the same characteristics, but without the technical problems of the previous two decades. Here, I should emphasize that this does not apply to the NF-A12x25 fans, which, in the same case as the rear and second fan on the cooler, are almost silent even at full speed. Obviously, the problem is not with the company but with the NF-14A fans.
Το 2023 υπάρχουν κάποια πράγματα που δεν περιμένεις να τα δεις, ιδίως από «ποιοτικά» και ακριβά προϊόντα. Με βάση το παραπάνω δεν περίμενα ποτέ από ένα ανεμιστήρα σε τιμή διπλάσια από τους ανταγωνιστές του και από μία εταιρία κορυφαία στο είδος της να παρουσιάζει θορύβους συντονισμού στο moter του. Συγκεκριμένα πήρα 2 NF-14A για να αντικαταστήσω τους 2 Corsair 140mm μπροστά στο Corsair Obsidian 450D κουτί μου. Ο λόγος ήταν ότι ενώ οι corsair ήταν σχεδόν αθόρυβοι και στα ίδια χαρακτηριστικά με τους noctua (1500 RPM), ήταν led και ενοχλούσαν πολύ το βράδυ. Με το που τους έβαλα παρατήρησα ότι σε εργασίες γραφείου και θερμοκρασίες CPU 33 βαθμούς το pc έκανε έναν έντονο humming θόρυβο, ενώ πριν δεν ακουγόταν καθόλου. Μετά από πολλές δοκιμές μεταξύ των οποίων και λειτουργία των ανεμιστήρων εκτός κουτιού, διαπίστωσα ότι ο θόρυβος ήταν εκεί και στους δύο. Ψάχνωντας λίγο στο internet βρήκα τουλάχιστον 100 posts από χρήστες με το ίδιο πρόβλημα οι οποίοι εντόπιζαν ότι εμφανιζόταν στις 700RPM. Άρχισα λοιπόν να παίζω με τις καμπύλες λειτουργίας των ανεμιστήρων και βρήκα ότι από 650-850 RPM o θόρυβος ήταν έντονος, ενώ εκτός αυτών των στροφών ο θόρυβος είναι εκεί αλλά πολύ χαμηλός (ή στις πολύ υψηλές στροφές καλύπτεται από από τον κανονικό θόρυβο των ανεμιστήρων). Έτσι έφτιαξα ένα προφίλ όπου μέχρι τους 50 βαθμούς οι ανεμιστήρες δουλεύουν στις 550RPM ενώ από εκεί και επάνω ανεβαίνουν απότομα στις 1050RPM και συνεχίζουν μέχρι τις 1500 (ευτυχώς ακόμα και χωρίς αυτούς τους ανεμιστήρες η θερμοκρασίες της cpu στα πάντα εκτός από τα βαριά παιχνίδια δεν ανεβαίνουν πάνω από τους 40 βαθμούς, ενώ στα παιχνίδια πάει κατευθείαν στου 68 βαθμούς και μένει περίπου εκεί).
Με βάση την εμπειρία μου λοιπόν και έχοντας πολλούς ανεμιστήρες από corsair, coolermaster, be quiet κλπ. στα διάφορα pc μου, εάν η ησυχία είναι πολύτιμη για εσάς μείνετε μακριά από τους NF-14A. Πάρτε κάτι πολύ φθηνότερο στα ίδια χαρακτηριστικά χωρίς όμως τα τεχνικά προβλήματα της προηγούμενης 20ετίας. Εδώ να τονίσω ότι αυτό δεν ισχύει για τους NF-A12x25 οι οποίοι στο ίδιο κουτί σαν πίσω και δεύτερος στην ψύκτρα, είναι σχεδόν αθόρυβοι ακόμα και σε πλήρεις στροφές. Προφανώς το πρόβλημα δεν είναι στην εταιρία αλλά στους NF-14A.
Quality construction. Quiet. With the corner pads, it doesn't creak on the box. The cables are superior to other fans.

In the Corsair Air 740, I have 4 NF-A14 fans and the case is cool as it gets and completely silent.
If you run it at 100% RPM, then yes, you will hear it, but there is no reason to do that in a case with proper airflow.
The NF-A14 has one job, to keep your machine cool and be silent.
It does that effortlessly at 100%.
If you want to focus on RGB lights and gimmicks instead of (silent) quality, then look elsewhere.
Noctua fans are not meant for such users anyway.

In a Fractal case, the Meshify C, I already had 2 Fractal Design Dynamic X2 GP-12 120mm fans in the front and back. I added 2 Noctua fans in the front and moved the other 120mm fan on top. Each fan had a y-splitter and an extender, generally very high-quality construction, ample airflow, and quiet operation. It also has a low noise adapter to set the maximum speed at 1200rpm for those who want further noise reduction. However, they are very expensive and the color combination is unsuccessful; it would have been better if they were just black. Purchased for 22€
Σε κουτί της Fractal το Meshify C που είχα ήδη 2 Fractal Design Dynamic X2 GP-12 120mm μπρος πίσω,
προσθεσα 2 Noctua μπροστά και και μετέφερα τον άλλο 12αρη πάνω.
Tο κάθε fan είχε μέσα ένα y-splitter και ένα extender γενικά παρα πολύ ποιοτική κατασκευή άφθονο flow και αθόρυβοι.
Τελος εχει ενα low noise adapter για να θετει max 1200rpm για οποιον θελει περαιτερω μειωση θορυβου
Αλλα είναι πανάκριβοι και ο χρωματικος συνδυασμός είναι αποτυχημένος ας ήταν άπλα μαύροι..

In the Corsair Air 740, I have 4 NF-A14 fans and the case is cool as it gets and completely silent.
If you run it at 100% RPM, then yes, you will hear it, but there is no reason to do that in a case with proper airflow.
The NF-A14 has one job, to keep your machine cool and be silent.
It does that effortlessly at 100%.
If you want to focus on RGB lights and gimmicks instead of (silent) quality, then look elsewhere.
Noctua fans are not meant for such users anyway.
Στο Corsair Air 740 έχω 4 NF-A14 και το κουτί είναι δροσερό όσο δεν πάει και τέρμα αθόρυβο.
Αν τον βάλεις να δουλεύει στο 100% τα RPM, τότε ναι θα τον ακούσεις αλλά δεν έχεις κανένα λόγο να το κάνεις αυτό σε ένα κουτί με σωστό airflow.
O NF-A14 έχει μία δουλειά, να κρατάει δροσερό το μηχάνημα σου και να είναι αθόρυβος.
Την κάνει στο 100% για πλάκα.
Αν θέλεις να κοιτάζεις RGB φωτάκια και χαζομαρούλες αντί να κοιτάζεις την (αθόρυβη) ποιότητα, τότε ψάξου αλλού.
Έτσι και αλλιώς τα Noctua δεν απευθύνονται σε τέτοιους χρήστες.
In a Fractal case, the Meshify C, I already had 2 Fractal Design Dynamic X2 GP-12 120mm fans in the front and back. I added 2 Noctua fans in the front and moved the other 120mm fan on top. Each fan had a y-splitter and an extender, generally very high-quality construction, ample airflow, and quiet operation. It also has a low noise adapter to set the maximum speed at 1200rpm for those who want further noise reduction. However, they are very expensive and the color combination is unsuccessful; it would have been better if they were just black. Purchased for 22€
Σε κουτί της Fractal το Meshify C που είχα ήδη 2 Fractal Design Dynamic X2 GP-12 120mm μπρος πίσω,
προσθεσα 2 Noctua μπροστά και και μετέφερα τον άλλο 12αρη πάνω.
Tο κάθε fan είχε μέσα ένα y-splitter και ένα extender γενικά παρα πολύ ποιοτική κατασκευή άφθονο flow και αθόρυβοι.
Τελος εχει ενα low noise adapter για να θετει max 1200rpm για οποιον θελει περαιτερω μειωση θορυβου
Αλλα είναι πανάκριβοι και ο χρωματικος συνδυασμός είναι αποτυχημένος ας ήταν άπλα μαύροι..
