  • I got it on sale for €60. My palm circumference is 22.5 cm, so I got an L based on the size chart. It’s a little long in the fingers, but not enough to be uncomfortable. If I’d gotten a smaller size, it would have been too tight when wearing the inner glove too. Speaking of which, they are two separate gloves: the inner (fleece) one and the outer one.
    · So far, I’ve ridden in an outside temperature of 10 degrees and moderate rain (not a storm). No water got through, and needless to say, I didn’t feel the cold at all (I was wearing only the outer glove). I’ll come back with an update on temperature and waterproofing at some point, but it’s Gore-Tex, so you know water won’t get through unless they get punctured or torn. They’re not suitable for summer, though. They’re far too warm for a Greek summer. At most, they’ll do until April or early May.
    · Overall, they’re comfortable. They soften up after a week of use and don’t bother you anywhere. Just be aware that if you have short fingers and a broad palm, they’ll feel odd. If you have long fingers, they’ll fit better.
    · You can’t feel the seams at the fingertips, or if you can, they’re very subtle. The touchscreen function works very well on the index fingers (not the thumbs). You also have a great feel for the buttons and for touch in general. If a button has a raised detail, you can feel it.
    · I’m a little wary of the Velcro—not because it’s poor quality, but because Velcro always has a limited lifespan. I hope it can be replaced without destroying the glove, since it’s sewn onto the waterproof membrane (the thick piece) and onto leather (the thin piece).
    · The grip is very good because the palm area is leather (as you can see in the photos). It’s as if your palm sticks to the throttle, and you can turn it even with your fingers extended, but when you want to let go, there’s no sticky feeling.
    · Fortunately, I haven’t had to put the protection to the test. There are more heavily reinforced gloves on the market, though. This one is more in the comfortable category, not adventure/racing. The ring finger is joined to the little finger, which is a great feature, and it has knuckle protection. There are gloves with harder protection there (though perhaps they’re not as practical or comfortable) and with scaphoid protection on the inside; this one doesn’t have that.
Overall, it’s a very good glove for touring and should work from October to April. After that, you’ll want perforated summer gloves. Your hands don’t sweat, and it really is windproof and waterproof, as claimed. For what I paid, it’s unbeatable. At the €150 I see it listed for now, some others might be better value if you want gloves specifically for touring, racing, or adventure riding. This one is a hybrid. It does a bit of everything.
