Description

Ideal for all types of orchids.

Unique features:

  • Natural origin
  • Mainly contains bark pieces with a small amount of peat
  • Has a stable structure
  • Facilitates water drainage
  • Provides good aeration to the roots

Dosage:

Carefully remove the old soil, taking care not to damage the roots. Soak the special Gemma substrate for orchids. Place a layer of the wet substrate at the bottom of the pot. Place the plant in the pot, gently pressing the roots into the pot. Fill the pot with orchid substrate. Make sure to distribute the substrate evenly. Tap the pot lightly so that the substrate is better distributed to the roots. It is important for the plant to be deeply anchored in the substrate. Again, be careful not to damage the fleshy roots and avoid over-compressing the substrate. After placing the plant in the new pot, let a few days pass before watering it again. This way, the roots will have enough time to recover from any damage during transplantation. Excessively wet substrate can damage the plant's roots.

Product Description:

Orchids are extremely sensitive plants and require special protection from root rot. Good drainage and well-ventilated substrate are necessary conditions to avoid excess water on the roots. Gemma's orchid substrate achieves this goal and helps in their healthy growth.

Tip! Watering is recommended at most once a week with rainwater or deionized water. Avoid exposing the plant to areas where drafts are created or direct sunlight. Use special fertilizers for orchids like Fytopan for Orchids, according to their usage instructions. Cut the withered branches below the third node to stimulate new flower formation. To accelerate new flowering, place the plant in a new pot, in a cooler space (15-20'C), and reduce watering for at least a month.

Composition:

  • Resinous tree barks and peat
  • Dry matter: 35%
  • Organic matter: 80%
  • Ph: 6.4
  • Conductivity: 30mS/m
  • Water capacity: 560ml/l
