The Story

Welcome to Promise Falls, a small town with a big secret. David Harwood is called to visit his cousin Marla, who hasn't been the same since she lost her baby almost a year ago. When he gets there, he finds blood at the door. Inside, Marla is happily caring for a baby that is not hers. She claims it was delivered 'by an angel,' but David fears the worst. His suspicions are confirmed when a woman's body is discovered, with her own baby missing, making Marla the only suspect in the investigation. But David knows that, as troubled as she is, Marla is not a killer. Is someone lurking in the shadows? And how far will David go to protect his family?
